Beekeeping: DIY Steam Wax Melter – Extractor

I made a DIY Steam Wax Melter – extractor using: wall paper steamer, 2x ratchet straps, 2x old wooden beehive floor, varroa mesh and bee hive brood box. V high extraction rate (95%) and very easy to make. Only issue is the energy it uses – basically like boiling a kettle.     Glad you like video. Actually, I no loger use the steam wax melter – as the solar wax melter I have made is far more efficient and can melt 28 super frames in one go. I will up load video so you can see it in action…
